A Tasteful Expansion Of Versatile Living Space

This was a unique project that required the demolition of an existing garage in order to make way for an expanded 2-bay garage pad with accompanying loft office/apartment space above. Evergreen provided our clients with a complete project cost proposal with additional itemized finish options, as well as a complete project schedule and estimated completion date. After extensive demolition of the existing garage, the new foundation was prepared, and encompassed the old slab foundation.

The new enlarged structure allows for an addtional storage room in the rear of the building (previously nonexistent) adjacent the entryway to the second floor staircase. The loft kitchen was equipped with stainless sink, generous cabinet storage, and undercounter refrigerator. For convenience and expanded facilities from the main house, the loft also provides a full bath.

We prepared the space for technology and enterainment add-ons by prewiring the space with multiple CAT5 and RG6 locations ready for future t.v. , cable, and computer locations. This new space provides our clients with versatile additional living space. They plan to use the space not only as recreational space for the kids, but also as a part-time home office retreat, and as additional overflow living space for visiting friends and family. What an improvement from just an old single car garage!
